NXT Women’s North American Champion Kelani Jordan recently spoke about dealing with wrestling fans.
John Cena inspired Kelani Jordan
Pro wrestling fans could sometimes be harsh on the talents. They are strongly opinionated and they never shy away from sharing their insights on social media. Speaking with Justin Dhillon on Casual Conversations with The Classic, Kelani Jordan discussed the fans’ criticism on social media and in general and how she deals with it. The rising superstar said that she is inspired by WWE legend John Cena when dealing with the critics. She heard Cena saying that even if the fans give negative reactions, they still react in some way, and it is better than not reacting.
She said:
“It’s actually something that I heard John Cena say before, I don’t know if it was in that interview. He was like whether the people are cheering for you or whether they’re booing for you. They’re still cheering for you so it’s better than sitting silent. That’s something John Cena said and it’s John Cena. I’m like ‘alright so John Cena can deal with it and he’s experienced it then it’s okay that I will have experiences like that too.'”
During last week’s NXT Great American Bash, Kelani Jordan successfully defended her NXT North American Women’s title against Tatum Paxley.
