During his interview with Shannon Sharpe at Club Shay Shay, Cena named some popular rappers as his Mount Rushmore of Rappers. ‘The Leader of Cenation’ named Jay-Z, Eminem, Nas, and Rakim.
John Cena recently made his comeback at WWE Money in the Bank 2024 and announced that he will hang up his boots following a retirement tour next year. His decorated career for more than two decades will culminate in December 2025 after competing in several WWE PLEs in Royal Rumble, Elimination and WrestleMania. Recently John Cena’s former rival has also expressed his desire to face him.
During the same interview, Cena was asked about what he wants out of his retirement tour. He said:
“I want it to be worth it,” he said. “And I don’t mean that I won’t get value from it, I’ll enjoy every second. I just want to justify it. I hope it is good for WWE’s business, I hope it continues to build the future of the brand and company. I hope the events are satisfying from an audience perspective. I hope everyone can come to these events and either relive memories they had over the past 23 years or make new memories.”
