Former UFC Double Champion Conor McGregor recently praised emerging Irish talent, Danni McCormack following her big win and wants to see UFC President Dana White offer her a contract.
‘Notorious’ has kept an eye on the up-and-coming talents to potentially sign with UFC. One such standout is strawweight Danni McCormack, who recently emerged victorious over Qihui Yan at Road to UFC on Friday. McCormack didn’t stumble against an opponent who had three times her fighting experience. The Irish fighter showcased a well-rounded performance and won the bout.
McCormack also went on to call out UFC strawweight champion Zhang Weili. McCormack is not signed to the UFC roster and Conor McGregor has pushed Dana White to sign her.

In a pair of recent tweets, McGregor endorsed McCormack’s UFC signing.

McGregor is currently on hiatus after withdrawing from UFC 303 earlier this year due to injury. He was supposed to face Michael Chandler in his return from a three-year fighting absence. The Irishman has remained determined on a UFC comeback after being away from the Octagon for several years.
