Gisele Shaw has decided to wave goodbye to TNA Wrestling.
TNA Wrestling grants release to Gisele Shaw
Fightful Select has reported that Gisele Shaw has been granted her release by the promotion. Shaw had recently requested her release and it was granted by the promotion.
Gisele Shaw was asked to work the company’s tapings in Louisville and ‘put someone over’ before departing the company. Her match was taped this past weekend and will air on TNA Impact soon. Fightful has reported that TNA sources have claimed that the promotion “worked smoothly to grant the release and didn’t put up a fight in keeping her around.”
Gisele Shaw had been involved in a storyline with Tasha Steelz. She is booked for Scott D’Amore’s new Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling promotion later this year. TNA sources expect her to be a regular figure in the promotion.
This marks an end to her brief run with TNA Wrestling. Her run lasted a couple of years. Her official on-air debut took place in February 2022. She has also challenged for the TNA Knockouts and Knockouts Tag Team Championship during her tenure but didn’t win. Her last title match took place against Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace at TNA No Surrender in February.
