Former President Donald Trump recently hyped up his supporters ahead of this week’s election with Kamala Harris by looking back on his time in WWE.

Trump was reportedly late to make an appearance in Grand Rapids, Michigan and didn’t arrive until after midnight. The campaign then played the infamous Battle of the Billionaires match for ten minutes as they waited for the former President to appear.

The match featured Trump putting his hair on the line against the iconic Mr. McMahon with ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin serving as the guest official. Bobby Lashley represented Trump and defeated McMahon’s Umaga, resulting in the then-WWE Chairman being shaved and kick-starting a feud with Lashley over the ECW World Title.

Trump has sought help from his past in WWE multiple times during his time as a politician. In 2017, Trump had also used a clip from the match that saw him clothesline McMahon but it had the CNN logo over Vince’s face.

This election has seen endorsements for both candidates from the wrestling world. WWE Hall of Famer Glenn ‘Kane’ Jacobs as well as Ryback have endorsed Donald Trump. Meanwhile, The Undertaker had shown his support for the Republican nominee during an episode of his Six Feet Under podcast. On the other hand Mick Foley has supported Kamala Harris while Dave Bautista also spoke about Trump.
