Second seed Aryna Sabalenka was gifted a custom WWE Championship after her US Open win.

Sabalenka defeated Jessica Pegula, World No. 6 from the United States, in straight sets to claim her third Grand Slam title. It has become quite a tradition with major sports victories that WWE gifts a custom Championship belt to celebrate the win and Sabalenka was no exception.
In Sunday’s US Open final, Aryna Sabalenka won 22 of the 28 points she faced on Jessica Pegula’s second serve. This has a greater meaning as it proved to be the only point of difference in what was an even contest despite its straight sets scoreline.
Sabalenka defeated Pegula, 7-5, 7-5 to lift her third Grand Slam title. She started the year with her in incredible form by winning the Australian Open but she was struck with personal tragedy with the loss of her former boyfriend. Sabalenka has concluded the Grand Slam season by becoming the most successful tennis player from Belarus, surpassing Victoria Azarenka in Majors. She is also only the fifth women’s singles player to win both hard court Majors in the same year.
