“People Make Fun of Jack Perry? – Roman Reigns Throwback Promo Resurfaces, Leaves Fans Divided

Roman Reigns has cemented himself as one of the greatest wrestlers to ever grace the ring. Over the years he has managed to elevate his career winning championships and main eventing WrestleMania events. His WWE Universal Championship reign of over 1,300 days  remains to be one of the greatest chapters in WWE history. However, before he entered WWE, he was part of  FCW(Florida Championship Wrestling) which is WWE’s now-defunct developmental territory. In the developmental territory, Roman Reigns was known as Leakee.

In a resurfaced video from 2011 making rounds on social media, Roman Reigns could be seen in an interview where he addressed getting ambushed in the previous week’s edition of FCW. During the interview, he claimed that he is the future of the company and tried to promote his catchphrase, and ended the segment screaming his name Leakee. However, he didn’t receive much of a reaction from the crowd. This throwback clip has led to fans chattering, noting how WWE had to push him to make him the superstar that he is today, and even drew comparisons with AEW’s Jack Perry.

Jack Perry challenges Bryan Danielson

Jack Perry has received massive hate after turning heel. During this week’s AEW Dynamite, the newly crowned AEW World Champion Bryan Danielson addressed his future. It was almost like a retirement speech but Danielson made it clear that he wants to be a fighting champion until his reign ends.

However,  TNT Champion Jack Perry interrupted, as he appeared on the video screen.  He then attacked Danielson from behind and posed above Danielson with both his TNT Championship and the AEW World Championship. Thus making it clear that he wants to challenge ‘The American Dragon’ for the title.

Some fans believe that Jack Perry is not the credible opponent for Bryan Danielson for AEW All Out. But that’s the direction AEW is going in. Some AEW opinionated fans have backed Perry and believe he deserves it. Fans have raised their questions that while Roman Reigns has improved a lot over the years, why wouldn’t AEW push Jack Perry. Fans have a mixed opinion on the matter.
