Nikki Garcia’s Husband Reportedly Tries To ‘Make It Up’ After Domestic Violence Arrest

Artem Chigvintsev is not ready to give up on his marriage to Nikki Garcia — despite his shocking domestic violence arrest.

Nikki and Artem have been married since 2022 and they recently even celebrated a wedding anniversary before things went south. It has come to light via Perez Hilton that things between the couple is “volatile.”

A source for Entertainment Tonight has confirmed that the couple have been on the rocks for a while. Nikki and Artem “had been super happy in their relationship for a while. However, things recently turned bitter. The insider has mentioned that their super busy schedules “drove a wedge between them” and caused the tension:

“Their travel and work schedules have forced them to spend time apart. Not having as much quality time together definitely drove a wedge between them and took a toll on their relationship. They support the same things, love hard, and fell for each other fast, but with that, things can also turn the other way.”

Artem Chigvintsev wants to get back Nikki Garcia

The Entertainment Tonight insider added:

“Artem has been trying to make it up to Nikki and get her back since, but she is exploring her options, including divorce.”

It was previously reported that Nikki Garcia (Nikki Bella in WWE) was looking for a divorce lawyer after Artem Chigvintsev’s domestic violence arrest.

TMZ had reported that Garcia has been trying to reach out to attorneys since Friday, a day after her husband was charged with felony corporal injury to a spouse or co-inhabitant. Garcia has also dropped hints that her marriage was done on Monday as she was spotted not wearing her wedding ring while hosting Netflix’s live hot dog eating contest, “Joey Chestnut vs. Kobayashi: Unfinished Beef.”

Chigvintsev is no longer living in the marital home in Napa Valley, Calif., and is instead staying with a friend in the meantime. On the other hand, Nikki Garcia is staying in the primary residence with the couple’s 4-year-old son, Matteo.

An audio from a 911 call shed light on their marital dispute. A dispatcher could be heard telling an officer that Chigvintsev, who placed the call to authorities in the first place, had alleged that Garcia “threw shoes” at him.

The cops found evidence and apprehended Artem. Cops found an “apparent injury” on the alleged victim or “a credible eyewitness.”As per TMZ, Chigvintsev had become so concerned about Garcia’s alleged injuries that he called the paramedics himself but then tried to cancel the call shortly after.
