Reports have emerged that WWE legend Randy Orton has inked a new deal with WWE.
Randy Orton is staying with WWE
He signed his previous contract in 2019 and it was also for five years. Reports noted that it was set to expire later this year. Thought ‘The Viper’ was on the shelf and missed in-ring action, Fightful Select has reported that their sources informed that Randy Orton has penned a new five-year deal with the company and it will keep him with WWE until 2029. Orton and WWE are yet to confirm the news.
A WWE executive had previously mentioned that changes in the company’s financial scenario and obligations demanded a new contract rather than an extension. While there was speculation in 2019 that Orton will be heading to AEW, that was not the case.
