The New Day have hit a massive milestone as they have completed 10 years since making WWE debut. The trio of Kofi Kingston, Big E, and Xavier Woods are certainly one of the greatest tag teams in the company have held the tag team titles 11 times. While Big E has been away from the programming since suffering a neck injury, Kingston and Woods carrying the banner of the faction.
The New Day to celebrate 10-year anniversary
During a WWE Raw Exclusive, General Manager Adam Pearce informed the New Day that he wanted to honor their ten-year anniversary with a special episode of WWE Raw. He also showered praise on them for being one of the most successful tag teams in WWE history and said it would be a fitting tribute.
“This year, ten years as New Day. It’s time to celebrate, man. You guys are one of the most decorated tag teams in WWE history. Because of that, if it’s cool with guys, I actually wanted to dedicate a special episode of Raw to celebrating you. An entire episode, if it’s cool with you guys.”
Kofi Kingston was visibly excited and agreed with the idea. The former WWE Champion was also hopeful that this celebration would bring positive energy. A date is yet to be confirmed of the special episode.
Meanwhile, The New Day suffered a loss against the Viking Raiders on the November 4th episode of WWE Raw.
