WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan recently opened up on WWE icon Bret Hart making his comeback to WWE on tonight’s Raw season premiere. ‘The Hitman’ is scheduled to make an appearance on the September 9 episode of Raw that takes place in Calgary.
Liv Morgan is excited for Bret Hart’s return
Speaking on Buzz Bishop, Morgan was asked about Hart returning on Raw season premiere. Morgan revealed that she met Hart a couple of times and she is excited that the WWE legend is returning. She said:
“Yeah, I’ve met him a couple times. I love Bret Hart, I loved his career. Big fan of his book. I remember when I was reading his book, I kept texting [Natalya], ‘Oh my gosh, I can’t believe this.’ Big fan of him, and I’m excited to see him. I’m excited he’s gonna be back, and in his stomping grounds, too. What better way to have Monday Night RAW?”
PW Insider has reported that there is a belief that WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart is set to work a segment related to WWE World Heavyweight Champion Gunther. ‘The Hitman’ made his last in-ring appearance took place in 2011 during an episode of WWE Monday Night Raw. That night, he joined forces with John Cena to defeat Alberto Del Rio and Ricardo Rodriguez in a tag team match. This bout took place at Scotiabank Place in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
